Scope of Application

 

This Data Protection Declaration is intended to inform the user of this website in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, the Federal Data Protection Act and the Telemedia Act on the type, scope and the purpose of the collection and use of personal data by LHMT GmbH.

 

LHMT GmbH (hereinafter referred to as Website Operator) takes your data privacy very seriously and consequently treats your personal data confidentially, in accordance with statutory regulations.

 

Keep in mind that data transmission via the Internet can, in principle, be subject to security risks. Complete protection against access by third parties is not feasible.

 

Access Data

 

The Website Operator, i.e. the site provider, collects data pertaining to site access, and stores these as "server log files". The following data will be logged:

- The amount of data sent in bytes

- Source/reference, from which the site was accessed

In the case of correspondence via e-mail, a requisite legitimate interest in processing the data exists. The additional personal data submitted during transmission is processed to prevent misuse of the contact form, and to secure our information technology systems.

 

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the intended purpose.  Regarding personal data from the input mask on the contact form, and those which were sent via e-mail, this is done when the conversation with the user has ended. The conversation is completed if the circumstances show that the relevant issue is decisively resolved.

 

The user has the option to withdraw his/her consent for the processing of personal data. If the user contacts us via e-mail, s/he may revoke the storage of his/her personal data at any time. In such a case, the conversation cannot be continued.

 

Google Analytics

 

This Website uses the service "Google Analytics", by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), provided for the analysis of website usage. This usage is executed on the basis of Art. 6, Para. 1 Sentence 1 lit. f. of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (German: DSGVO). The service uses "cookies" – text files, which are stored on your device. The information collected by cookies, such as browser type/version, the operating system used, referrer URL (the previously visited site), the host name of the accessing computer (IP address), the time of the server request, are, as a rule, sent to a Google Server in the USA and stored there.

 

On this website, IP anonymisation applies. The user's IP address is truncated within the member States of the EU and the European Economic Area. Through the afore-mentioned truncation, personal identification via your IP address is not possible. Within the framework of the website operator Google Inc.'s concluded data agreement, the aforementioned creates an evaluation of website usage and site activity and provides Internet-related services relating online use, utilizing the data collected.

The owner of the website provides a newsletter, in which you are given information on current events and various offers. If you wish to subscribe to the newsletter, you must provide a valid e-mail address.

 

In order to process the data, your consent must be obtained as part of the registration process, referring to this Data Protection Declaration. If you purchase goods or services and provide your e-mail address during this process, it can be used by the site operators to mail newsletters. In such a case, the newsletter is limited exclusively to direct marketing for their own similar goods or services. No transfer of data to third parties, acquired from the data processed for the mailing of newsletters, ensues. The data will be used exclusively for the mailing of newsletters.

 

The legal basis for data processing, when a user has subscribed to the newsletter, is the user's express consent, in accordance with Art. 6, Para. 1 lit. a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (German: DSGVO). The legal basis for sending the newsletter as a result of the sale of goods or services is § 7 Para. 3 of the German Unfair Competition Act (UWG).

 

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the intended purpose/s. The user's e-mail address is therefore stored for as long as the newsletter subscription is active.

 

The subscription to the newsletter can be terminated by the user at any time. A corresponding link is provided in every newsletter for this specific purpose.

 

User Rights: Information, Rectification and Deletion

 

You, as a user, will receive information regarding personal data stored free of charge, on request. If your request does not conflict with any legal data storage obligation (e.g., data retention regulations), you have the right to rectify incorrect data and request that your personal data is blocked or deleted.

 

The Right to Revocation of the Data Protection Declaration

 

You have the right to revoke any Data Protection Declaration granted under data protection law at any time. Through the revocation of consent, the legality of processes carried out on the basis of consent given prior to revocation will remain unaffected.

 

Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Regulatory Authority

 

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a regulatory authority, in particular within the member state of your residence, your workplace or the location of an alleged infringement, if you believe a violation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (German: DSGVO) with regard to the processing of your personal data, has taken place.

 

The regulatory authority where the complaint was filed shall inform the complainant about the status and outcome of the complaint, including the possibility of a judicial remedy, in accordance with Art. 78 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (German: DSGVO).
